Thanks to a deep understanding of the domestic market and collaborative efforts between Italian and Russian professional teams, Coliseum now occupies a leading position in the design and production of ceramics, ensuring an innovative approach and the quality of its products
Coliseum porcelain tiles are glazed ceramic tiles consisting of a base color tile with a pre-firing layer of glaze - an ultra-durable glass layer. The glaze creates a specific graphic effect resembling stone, wood, concrete, etc. After firing, the tile acquires a deep color and an incredibly aesthetic appearance, while retaining all the main technical characteristics of porcelain tiles. The color palette of the glaze is unlimited, providing a variety of design solutions.
Porcelain tile is a special type of ceramic obtained by pressing a specially developed mixture of natural components under high pressure (>450 kg/cm2): kaolin clays, quartz sands, and feldspars. After pressing, the mixture is fired at high temperatures (1200-1400°C). As a result, porcelain tile acquires its unique technical characteristics and properties
